Clock design
This clock depicts various stages of life – the landscape through time, the top figures of the time signatures (3, 6, 9, 12) represent the times of day and, of course, the piano keys speak for themselves.

Introduction to the artist
A Yorkshire born artist, pianist, composer and teacher, Betty achieved her BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art as a mature student in her 60’s. Music is often an inspiration for her work and, when teaching, Betty encourages children to draw or paint pictures they can 'hear' in music and likewise interpret music they can 'see' in painting.
