James David Murphy

Clock design
"The inspiration for my design came from my current work; producing illustrated t-shirt designs with a nautical theme.
To me, the sea is a place where time stops; a place for reflection and introspective thoughts and a stark reminder of the effort and energy needed in life.
The Hour Leeds campaign represents all of the above to me and it asks all of us to look to ourselves to offer help and not wait for others to do so first.
The design is intended to be simple and subtle. It was produced in my natural illustrative style using pigment ink and acrylic paint." James David Murphy
